- What titles are displayed during the opening 

sequences? The titles which are displayed during the opening scene are the production company that helped film the movie, the name of the movie, the characters in the movie, the person who assisted in the music for the movie, and the author as well as a view of New York City. The production company that helped film the movie was Propaganda Films.

 - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? The images prioritized in the opening sequence are abruptly a view of New York City life. The images include the twin towers with some smoke in the atmosphere, the streets of NYC, and a picture of bugs.

 - What connotations do these images carry? The connations presented in the opening sequence are pretty neutral until you get to the bugs attacking an object altogether which gives a negative or evil persona to candyman. Overall the images are pretty much neutral not giving a positive or negative look, it's very broad.

 - How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from 

the outset? The film starts off as a regular normal life type of day until suddens it changes. Candyman I'm assuming is having an influence on the city causing people to go crazy and once they say his name it's all over in which the city goes dark and he's on a manhunt. 

 - What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to 

its target audience? One strategy was the use of the smoke and the transition from the city smoke to the lady who was smoking. I'm guessing that this lady is the one who is going to say his name in the mirror and is one of the main characters since she's the first to be presented.

 - How has technology been used effectively? You want 

to consider camera angles, transitions and editing 

techniques. The technology was used with camera views of the highways, streets, the city, skyscrapers, and transition to the person smoking. The camera movements good the movie a great opening sequence as it takes the audience with them to travel to where candyman resides and the streets of New York. Also, the transition from the view of New York City smoking to the lady smoking was incredibly giving a blue print of how the story all started.

Research commercials

  My group is doing a Gatorade commercial. In these commercials the audience usually sees an athlete part taking in a physical activity and is seeking that next factor to get them to the next level to get the job done.(Basketball, Football, Soccer, Track, etc.) The actors in this commercial will wear costumes such as sweat shirts, loose fitted hoodies, shorts, tennis shoes, and cleats. Props presented will include towels, dumbbells', bottle of Gatorade, 28.5 inch Spalding Basketball, and medicine ball. The appearance is going to be toned, sweaty, and tiredness to show how the Gatorade will be utilized add extra energy. The Conventions and Codes in Gatorade commercials include the mojo "Win From Within" along with the iconic G' bolt symbol. This mojo influences the audience to intake Gatorade products so that they will have the best chance to win and conquer anything they have to face. Planning/other info

  Schedule  3/4 - 3/7: the process of filming will begin. The shots will be taken scene by scene and after, the voiceovers will be done once the scene gets filmed first. The final scene will be done on the 7th as well. 3/9- 3/11:There will be touchups made to any mistakes or if something can be better in the film just to make sure our movie is the best it can be and also this will be the last days of filming. 3/13- 3/22: Editing will be taken place and elements will be implemented to the scenes to our liking as well as the subtitles and titles with the app iMovie on my iPhone 13 and the scenes will be put in chronological order on there as well.
