Going into it

On November 23nd, this is the day we started to put everything together and get ready to film. First, we had to figure out the park we were going to film the music video because the weather was a little bit off and on in our area. After a couple of minutes of strategizing, we decided that the best location would be Shirley small park because it hardly rains in that area. We didn't have a ride to get to the park so I and my partner David had to wait until the next day, which was the 23rd, to go film the beginning of it. The storyboard was already finished because we decided to do it extra early so we can already have a feel for what we wanted. The storyboard includes each scene and they all have a special feature to them that separates them from the rest. The next day, I woke up at 10 am to start the day of gathering my materials and buying the camera to do the filming. I chose to get the camera from my uncle because he sells equipment for businesses and merchandise and they're all high quality. Once I got the camera, I called my partner to see if he was up and ready so we could do the filing at 1:00 pm because that would give us the best lighting possible for high-quality filming. Cameras typically need sunlight so the quality and frame levels won't drop and produce a bad video so that is the reason for the time schedule chosen. When 12:30 hit, I went to go pick up my partner from his house so we could head to the park. The park was only 5 min away so we didn't have to worry about traffic. When we got to the park, there was only one person there and they were reading a book so we couldn't play the music too loud just out of respect for the individual. We understood that reading requires concentration and we didn't want to ruin that for the person. Once everything was settled I grabbed my basketball and started dribbling and stretching just to get warmed up a little bit and get the blood flowing through my body. After, I placed my phone on the ground and began practicing the first scene I made on the storyboard which was me running up and picking up the camera. The scene was a little hard because the camera was heavy lol but I got it done and the results were good for that. After that, we stand under the tree for a couple of minutes because it began to get very hot and my body was a bit dehydrated so I drank some water. Once the clouds covered the sun, we went back to it and began practicing the second scene. The scene was including me dribbling up the court and stopping at the free-throw line. After 5 tries I finally got it down packed and was able to complete the scene without any errors. This completed the second day of filming.
