What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? 
There were many titles that were presented during the opening sequence of the movie Nightmare on elm streets
. The titles shown were first the people who wrote the script. Second, the individuals who produced the film or helped. The third title was the name of the production team. The fourth titles were a sequence of the names of all the families that are in the movie. The fifth was the editor of the movie. The last title was the company that owns the movie. 

What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? 
The creation of Freddy Kruger clawed glove and a girl running is the main images shown in opening sequence. 

What connotations do these images carry? 
It’s creates a sense of bad energy and danger. The images of a claw and it being sharp shows the main weapon that the victims of the movie will be killed with. 

How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset? This film establishes the feeling of a horror right out the gate with demonic music being playing in the opening sequence and the images presented. The images of a sharpe handed blade being shown and a girl running. 

What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?  The strategy was to scare the audience and give them a feel on how the killings of the movie is going to happen by showing the creation of the murder weapon being made and showing how his victims behave.

Research commercials

  My group is doing a Gatorade commercial. In these commercials the audience usually sees an athlete part taking in a physical activity and is seeking that next factor to get them to the next level to get the job done.(Basketball, Football, Soccer, Track, etc.) The actors in this commercial will wear costumes such as sweat shirts, loose fitted hoodies, shorts, tennis shoes, and cleats. Props presented will include towels, dumbbells', bottle of Gatorade, 28.5 inch Spalding Basketball, and medicine ball. The appearance is going to be toned, sweaty, and tiredness to show how the Gatorade will be utilized add extra energy. The Conventions and Codes in Gatorade commercials include the mojo "Win From Within" along with the iconic G' bolt symbol. This mojo influences the audience to intake Gatorade products so that they will have the best chance to win and conquer anything they have to face. Planning/other info

  Schedule  3/4 - 3/7: the process of filming will begin. The shots will be taken scene by scene and after, the voiceovers will be done once the scene gets filmed first. The final scene will be done on the 7th as well. 3/9- 3/11:There will be touchups made to any mistakes or if something can be better in the film just to make sure our movie is the best it can be and also this will be the last days of filming. 3/13- 3/22: Editing will be taken place and elements will be implemented to the scenes to our liking as well as the subtitles and titles with the app iMovie on my iPhone 13 and the scenes will be put in chronological order on there as well.
