Gatorade Commercial

Overall the experience I have on making the commercial was great. I enjoyed working with my teammates and cooperating with them and getting to know the class better. I learn to communicate better and to plan things out in a more appropriate way. On our first day, it was complex to get the shots do you want it but in the end, it all worked out. Certain clips weren’t getting the proper sunlight on the hot track. And other clips were shot at the wrong angle. But as we progressed we learn to adapt to the sunlight and change our tactics. After going over some of the video clips we did we revise the way we wanted the commercial to be and came to an agreement. Near the end, we had some trouble editing but we manage to surpass those problems and, we learn a lot of useful things about editing such as using apps like iMovie. Ultimately the experience I had making the commercial was fantastic and I truly enjoyed it.

My experience on editing

For today my experience on editing went successfully. At the start of the class period I sat down next to my partner and we discussed on our next move. At first I wasn’t sure how he is going to edit the videos until I ask the other story how they did their. A couple of friends recommend some different editing ads but the most efficient one to me was iMovie. David was going to be the editor to begin with but he didn’t really understand how to do it at first. This is because at the beginning we decided to add more to our film then originally to make it look more presentable. I added a Usain Bolt clip that David gave to me and then put all the separate videos we took on the filming days and combined them. It took me a couple of tries to get the way I wanted it. For example I wanted to add a background soundtrack to the video but I was having a difficult time. I was getting DRM to the background music I wanted to add. I found out the solution to my problem by adding a soundtrack that ...

Good evening in for today I will be talking about my second time filming. Compared to the first our second was more and efficient because we already knew what we how to do unlike the first time. Me and my partner went out to the track and then we made sure to bring the product with us this time since we didn’t record it the previous time. We mainly focus on completing the last two scenes in our story board and that took about an hour or so. To be honest this time around it was way better compared to the first time. My reasoning for saying that is because we knew the proper angles to take videos and pictures from the sun without having Bad lighting. Me and my teammate took multiple pictures and videos of the scenes with a high understanding on how we wanted it to be. After we done filming we chose the pictures and the videos you wanted to have and deleted the rest. After that we relaxed on the track with other groups. We were mainly discussing on what type of commercial the other ...

Good evening my name is Quincy and for today I’ll be talking about my part that I did during the commercial. For our commercial we chose to do it on the drink Gatorade. Since Gatorade is a drink that haves to do with you using electrolytes and doing something physically challenging. We chose to put track and field with the Gatorade commercial since it would have to do with using electrolytes. I was the actor in the commercial, which makes me the runner that the cameras are on. First I had to bring my team mate that’s a part of the group to the bathroom do I could change into the proper attire for the film. As we got to the track I went and got the hurdle and things before we got ready to start recording. My teammate and I walked over talked about what we were going to do a little more. I warmed up a little bit and stretched and then we got start to work. We first went order by order accordingly to the storyboard but we did tweaked it a little bit. I got in my ready position aka f...

Slide 1: This is the beginning of the film, in this portion of the film the actor will be in a ready position to run over a hurdle on a track.  Slide 2: In this part, the actor is starting the race by getting out of the ready position and begin to drive out the starting line. To be more detailed the actor is pushing off of the blocks by moving his legs at a 35-degree angle and is running at the first hurdle.  Slide 3: In this slide, the actor is jumping over the hurdle in a fast motion and continues to run towards the finish.  Slide 4: This is more near the end of the race. In this part, the actor is decelerating and coming to a stop.  Slide 5: After finishing the race the actor stands next to a Gatorade bottle tempting to get some.  Slide 6: After completing running the actor picks up the Gatorade and drinks the Gatorade from being so fatigued.
